As a part of the curriculum of EVS a group disscussion with age group 6-8 in July - Nov 2010 was carried out about the airlines which allow the pets to travel. students were asked to collect information on this aspect. Over all summary of information collected was as follows-
Jet Airways, Indian Airlines and Jet lite allow pets to travel in cargo hold.
Pets below 8 weeks are not allowed to travel by flight.
the charges for the pet depends on its weight and differ from fight to flight.
